About me
Antonia Campolongo is a nurse at the CDINC center and coordinator-nurse at the Movement Disorders Unit directed by Dr. Jaume Kulisevsky at the Hospital de la Santa Cruz y San Pablo. She has extensive experience in clinical practice in Movement Disorders, as well as in the management of second-line treatment in Parkinson's Disease. She is also a collaborator in multiple research projects developed over the last 20 years together with Dr. Kulisevsky. Her work focuses on health education for patients and caregivers suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. She has a Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the UIB.
She is a nurse case manager of the research group of Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders of the Neurology Service of the Hospital de Santa Creu and Sant Pau, associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and Director of the program "Specialization in Neurological Nursing" of the Open University of Catalonia and professor of the "Course in Movement Disorders", researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Research Sant Pau and president of the Movement Disorders Group of the Spanish Society of Neurological Nursing (SEDENE).
